There’s something wrong about Jessica. This is the Tag line that was use to promote the movie Jessicka Rabid. But the thing surrounding this movie is that the producer of the film, Elske McCain decide to put the movie on the web so anybody can watch it ! Of course you can donate on the website. I’m wondering if this way will work !

A dysfunctional family, the Hoffmans, have been living their lives in a veil of secrecy. Incest, rape are a part of their everyday lives. A product of which, is Jessicka (Elske). After years of nameless abuse of her family and neighbors, Jessicka has been reduced to something less than human. She’s more of a family pet than she is a true member of the family. Jessicka is the tragic character brought up from her surroundings, and suddenly finds her opportunity for revenge. JESSICKA RABID was produced by Elske McCain (GIMMIE SKELTER) who also stars in the title role. Frequent FANGORIA RADIO guest Trent Haaga (TERROR FIRMER, DEADGIRL) co-stars.

Today it’s a little different ! A nice inde horror western movie !  The website of the movie is not bad but I can’t find any summary of the film. But it’s posible to see some review of the film on it so here’s one quotes.

I dig a good horror Western as much as the next guy, I just hope this one lives up to its potential. But you gotta give it props for being original! Can’t say I’ve come across a premise quite like that before.

Directed by Alex Birrell BrainCell is starring Joe Zaso and Raine Brown. This is not the first film for the Zaso/Brown duo ! They seems to follow each other footsteps since a couple of years.

Well can’t say really more thing about the film except that I found a really good article about it on Fright.

Aversion is an action-packed tale of a private investigator who discovers too late that the woman that he’s hired to follow is possessed by a demon. Alex Stokes (Andrew Roth) is a down and out, self destructive PI who takes cases wherever he can. When he’s offered a healthy sum by a mysterious man to follow his beautiful wife (Melantha Blackthorne), he can’t resist. Her seemingly mundane day to day activities take a strange turn when she tried to kill herself. After Alex saves her, their chemistry is too much to resist and the two become romantically entangled. This only the beginning as his friends and acquaintances begin to fall into a vortex of evil, leaving him alone to save mankind.

Gaius Roberts is directing here is 3rd feature film and the movie stars Andrew Roth and Melantha Blackthorne. I don’t know Andrew Roth but I do know really well Scream Queen Melantha Blackthorne. Blackthorne  did a lot of film in the past and was in the distribution of the hollywood movie Death Race and pretty soon we hope to see The Graveyard Picture Show on DVD somewhere.

More I find trailers of inde film, more the quality start to improve. The Door was shoot on the Red Camera. The film explores the uses of new technology to bring forth the best picture and sound quality currently use. The 5-day shoot of this short film covered 5 locations with a combination of 53 cast & crew.

A young man, Chris, tries hard to impress his girlfriend, Allison, but quickly finds out it is harder than it seems.  Trying to redeem himself, Chris gets overtaken by an unknown entity and sets his sights on Allison. Now aware of the situation, Allison tries in vain to protect herself but all comes to end when she is met behindThe Door.
